Wilton Gel Color Black 28g - black

Concentrated gel food colorant.

Package weight 28 g. The color is intended for coloring any confectionery materials - creams, glazes, gels, doughs, modeling pastes - so-called fondant. Add from a small amount up to achieve the desired shade.

Maximum recommended dosage: 1.64g/100g.

Ingredients: glucose syrup, humectant: E422, sugar, water, coloring: E153, starch, acidity regulators: E330, E331, thickener: E406, preservative: E202.

May contain milk, soy, wheat, peanuts, nuts, fish, crustaceans, celery, mustard, sesame, and mollusks. Certified kosher.

The dosage is governed by applicable hygiene regulations and technical standards, especially Decree No. 298/97 Coll. of the Ministry of Health. For coloring confectionery products, the maximum amount of coloring per 200 mg/kg of colored material for edible decorations on confectionery products is set. For the use of colors in combination, the overall highest permitted value of colors is set at 500 mg/kg and applies to the total amount of colors used.

The notice that the colors are intended for decorative purposes only is included because, due to EU legislation, it is not possible to use hygiene certificates valid for the USA in the EU territory.
Wilton colors can be safely used to color foods intended for consumption.
