How much is needed to cover a cake? For a round cake with a diameter 24/26 cm you will need approx. 500g of fondant. Fondant is also very suitable for decorations. 

For decorations: Add to 250g of fondant one full teaspoon of Tylose (product 1098) and a little water. Before use knead well and roll out on powdered sugar to a thin sheet and continue modeling flowers or figurines.
